Philosophy
Why a Philosophy Degree From Le Moyne?
What is the meaning of life? Why do we exist? How can we achieve true happiness?
As a philosophy major at Le Moyne, you’ll ask the big questions. And you’ll devote your undergraduate years to answering them. In the process, you’ll learn to reason and communicate your thoughts. You’ll analyze problems and weigh solutions, considering the politics, ethics and cultures involved. You’ll empathize with others, seek understanding and peace and see important issues from different perspectives. You’ll question conventional thinking and articulate your views on what you believe is right and just.
With a philosophy degree, you’ll grow as a person and graduate with highly marketable skills that will set you up for success in law school or other graduate programs as well as a wide range of careers.
