The 15-credit minor in race in American society complements a wide range of majors, including sociology, political science, psychology, human resource management, anthropology and more. All students in the program will take the Introduction to Race in American Society class and a capstone course. Course examples include Race, Gender, and Justice, New Directions in Black Science Fiction, Ethics from the Perspective of the Oppressed, and Sports Economics.
