In the world languages programs at Le Moyne, we’ll take you around the globe. You’ll discover faraway places and gain an understanding of how people in other cultures live, work and have fun. Study French, Spanish, Italian, Latin, Middle East & Islamic studies or Chinese, then put your skills to practice when you spend a semester studying abroad.

Le Moyne offers majors in French and Spanish, dual majors, several world language minors and a five-year B.A./M.S.T. in Spanish and adolescent education.

French & Spanish Undergraduate Degrees

You can major in French or Spanish or combine either with a dual major in communications.

Foreign Language Minors

You can complement any major area of study with a minor in world languages, from the study of ancient Greece and Rome to a Middle East & Islamic studies minor.

Spanish Graduate Degree

Looking to teach Spanish? Le Moyne offers a five-year program to get your undergraduate and graduate degrees consecutively.

Le Moyne offers courses in French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish, as well as cultural courses on topics like contemporary Latin American film, Hispanic women's voices and classical mythology.
