The International Student’s Guide to Le Moyne
Here’s a step-by-step look at your journey to the Heights.
Submit Your Certificate of Finance to Receive a Form I-20
To receive your Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20), we must have your completed application materials, including your Certificate of Finance. While this shows how you intend to fund the first year of your education at Le Moyne, you must have funding available for the entirety of your course of study, including the verification document for each funding source. Remember you need to make your deposit before completing this step.
Apply for a Student Visa
Once you have the required documents, apply for a student visa at the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. Be aware of specific requirements and timelines of the visa application process, they vary based on location. Apply well in advance of your intended start date. Be patient and keep track of your application status through the embassy or consulate's online tracking system, if available. Keep us informed about the progress of your visa application. If you encounter any challenges or delays, let us know.
Apply for Financial Assistance
If you would like to apply for financial aid at Le Moyne, please complete the International Student Application for Financial Assistance. This isn't a guarantee of aid.
Plan for International Student Orientation
All international students are required to participate in an orientation upon arrival. This is the chance to learn more about your immigration responsibilities as well as get to know our campus. Events will vary from semester to semester. Information about orientation dates and formats will be available closer to the start of each semester.
