Campus Life & Leadership
Providing dynamic living and learning environments that support your residential needs.
As a residential campus, on-campus housing is a very important part of your educational journey. We have a 4 year residency requirement which means you have to live on campus. (unless they are living with your parents in the Syracuse area) We offer several types of housing to give you a number of choices of where you’ll make your home on The Heights.

Support in the Residence Halls
Area directors are professional staff members who reside in each of our main residence halls. They help supervise the resident advisor staff and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the residence hall. They also create educational, cultural, recreational and social programs you can take advantage of.
Resident advisors are a key piece of your residence community. They will live on your floor, offer advice when you need it, and help you find resources if you’re having academic and personal difficulties. They create a healthy residential environment for you.
