Student Learning Assessment at Le Moyne is the substance and process of teaching and learning.
Without a way to gather and analyze evidence of student learning, we can't really tell if our teaching is making an impact. We need some way to see if students are gaining the knowledge and skills we aim to teach, and whether our methods are effective.

Just 45% of low-income students in our nation enroll in college, compared with 81% from the highest socio-economic tier. This is a problem we are working to solve.
Le Moyne College’s Upward Bound program is a grant-funded educational opportunity program that provides academic, social, and college readiness support to low-income high school students from Syracuse, many aspiring to be the first in their families to go to college and graduate. Last year, 94% of our high school seniors enrolled in postsecondary institutions, more than doubling the national rate for their peers.
