Kamal Butrouna, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Physics Le Moyne College, will present “Organic Semiconductor Research and Technology.”

As an experimental physicist, his research concentrates on the development of organic/inorganic composites, and blends of inorganic nanoparticles or nanowires within conjugated conductive polymers. Prior to joining Le Moyne, he worked at Western Carolina University, the University of Kentucky, and the University of Gharyan, Libya. He earned a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the University of Tripoli, Libya, and additional M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from University of Kentucky.

The Natural Science Seminar Series is sponsored by Le Moyne College and the natural science departments. Speakers include Le Moyne students and faculty as well as scientists from other colleges, universities and the private sector.
