Join us for a discussion with Astronaut Jeanette Epps, ’92, Ph.D., who in 2024 spent nearly eight months orbiting Earth on the International Space Station. Her time in space followed decades of training and preparation as a NASA fellow and astronaut. Prior to her time at NASA Epps worked as an engineer for Ford Motor Company and as a technical intelligence officer at the Central Intelligence Agency.
Facilitating the discussion will be Sharon Kinsman Salmon ’78, a former chair of Le Moyne’s Board of Trustees who is retired from Pfizer, where she served in several executive roles.
The event is the spring 2025 Carroll College of Arts and Sciences
Distinguished Alumni Lecture. The Carroll College of Arts and Sciences is the academic core of Le Moyne, housing the largest number of students, majors, minors and faculty. The Carroll College was launched in spring 2024, thanks to a $12 million gift from James J. Carroll ’66, Ph.D., and his wife, Mary — the largest alumni donation in the College’s history
