With 160 acres, you can walk almost anywhere you want to go on campus.

Whether it’s class, the library or the recreation center, you can get there in just 10 or 15 minutes on foot.

If wheels are more your speed, you can always ride your bike and “park it” at one of the racks on campus. We suggest you lock your bike in a designated storage area when you’re not using it, rather than using valuable space in your dorm room (your roommates will probably appreciate this, too).

Transportation Options on the Heights

Do I Need a Car?

Having a car at Le Moyne isn't necessary. It’s easy to walk or bike ride almost anywhere on campus, and there are several stores and restaurants within walking distance. If you need to go farther off campus, you can always take the bus, or maybe even catch a ride with a friend. You are allowed to bring your vehicles to campus, if you chose to, as long as you’ve properly registered and parked in your assigned lot. If you do, you’ll be responsible for its regular maintenance. (And when it snows, you may have to move your vehicle so that the lots may be plowed.)

Campus Shuttle

Our campus shuttle travels throughout campus, bringing you to and from college-owned properties. The shuttle van runs on a part-time schedule, starting at the top and bottom of each hour from the front of Harrison/St. Mary's. Look for your shuttle information in the lobby of your resident halls or call the Security Office at 445-4444 for additional information.

Beyond The Heights

Ready to explore beyond campus? Need to go on a grocery run? Regular shuttles run on weekends to locations like Destiny USA, Salt City Market, Marshall's Plaza, Walmart, Target and Wegmans. Check Campus Groups for the latest schedule of times.

Whether you are in your first year, fourth year or a graduate student, the amazing places on campus are endless, and you will fall in love with each of them. Exploring the campus will help you to find some of these staples plus some hidden gems that may not be as popular. You will find your place, and it will become where you look forward to going to. You just need to go out and find it!”
