If Rosanna Grullon ‘18 were to offer one piece of advice to future Le Moyne students, it would be this: “Don’t rush through everything.” Grullon’s experience on the Heights taught her how special a person’s college years are, and how quickly they pass. To that end, she encourages others to take advantage of every opportunity. Her own years on the Heights were full of growth and reflection. A dual major in political science and peace and global studies (now global affairs), Grullon participated in the College’s Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program, making some of her closest friends through it. The Bronx, N.Y., native spent a semester studying in Cuba, learning about the history, culture and politics of the island nation. That experience continues to shape the way she looks at the world today. Grullon also served as a diversity ambassador and as a member of El Progreso, and volunteered in the community through Campus Ministry.

Today Grullon is a client success specialist at Cloud and Things, a start up company whose aim is to supports its clients’ missions through the use of digital technologies. She is responsible for client success management, problem-solving and process improvement. Prior to joining Cloud and Things, she served as a governance and procurement contract manager and integrated eligibility systems project assistant for the New York State Office of Information Technology Services, and as a project management consultant and a GENESYS Consulting Services Inc. In the future, she hopes to use her experience working in both the public and private sector to aid government entities in becoming more effective and efficient. She credits her time at Le Moyne, with helping her to become a more confident, independent individual and a stronger critical thinker. All of these have led to her to where is today.

“It truly was a whole journey,” she says.
