The Athletic Certification Team is comprised of the Assistant Registrar, Faculty Athletic Representative, Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Success and NCAA Compliance/SWA, NCAA Compliance Coordinator and the Senior Programmer Analyst from our IT department. This team communicates regularly regarding any change to a student-athlete’s academic record (course withdrawals, change in major, academic advising, etc.) and meets multiple times a year to review athletic academic certifications for the upcoming semester and/or academic year. The Office of the Registrar is responsible for generating the NCAA Squad Lists for all 21 sports programs prior to their first competition in conjunction with the data that is entered by the Office of NCAA Compliance. The Office of the Registrar and the Faculty Athletics Representative review and sign the Squad Lists and then provide the reports to the Office of NCAA Compliance for all remaining signatures.
