Career-building support in tech and innovation

ERIE21’s college program is an education and workforce development program, creating opportunities in tech and innovation. 100 Le Moyne students pursuing majors/minors linked to STEM or innovation have the opportunity to participate in our program every year. ERIE21 is a supportive layer to your Le Moyne education, and an opportunity to build career readiness in our rising tech and innovation economy.

With such a well-rounded education strengthening both my technical and soft skills, I’ve felt prepared for any role that I’ve been positioned in and I’m so excited to see how far my education at Le Moyne will take me.

Innovative Learning & Support in ERIE 21

ERIE 21’s programs help support approved majors through the college experience.

ERIE21 Student Support

Our community is here to help support you while in college and prepare you for the next steps in your career or education. A mix of academic coaching, workshops, community engagement, and more can help you prepare for life after graduation.

Program Engagement Expectations

Eligible students will be provided a set of engagement benchmarks each semester focused on academic enrichment, career exploration and community engagement to provide a structured path forward. They can then receive a variety of awards based on involvement.

To be eligible for ERIE21, students must reside in New York, be enrolled in an ERIE21-approved major or minor (or have an interest in integrating technology and innovation into their future career), complete the FAFSA each year and demonstrate financial need, and not be currently served by the CSTEP program at Le Moyne College.

  • Why I enjoy being a part of ERIE21:
ERIE21 enables me to contribute to the growth of the region and assist in preparing our young residents to not only find a job here but to make an impact here. As a first-generation college student, I’m drawn to this position because it provides pathways to assist students academically, socially, and personally – all areas that are essential to the successful navigation of the college-to-career journey. I see ERIE21 as an initiative to alter the how and why of college education – to create new pathways for student and regional progress. As someone excited about Greater Syracuse, I want to help ERIE21’s evolution.

  • Why I enjoy being a part of ERIE21:
After years of working in Campus Life at Le Moyne, the opportunity to guide, develop and create a community with a group of students who are passionate and focused on tech is invigorating. The enjoyment stems from both what I’ll be able to teach and what I’ll inevitably learn.
