Le Moyne College Student Dance Company Presents Fall Performance

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … The Le Moyne Student Dance Company will present “Everybody Dance Now” at the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts. Performances are as follows:

 

Thurs., Nov. 13, 8 p.m.

Fri., Nov. 14, 8 p.m.

Sat., Nov 15, 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

 

One of the highlights of the performance will be a wheelchair dance, featuring Amanda Fallon ’09. The piece resulted from a workshop held at Le Moyne in September with Kitty Lunn from Infinity Dance Theater in New York City. Lunn, a professional dancer, was preparing for her first Broadway show 20 years ago when she slipped on ice, fell down a flight of stairs and broke her back. A paraplegic, Lunn has worked diligently since then on behalf of performing artists with disabilities. Fallon will perform with area professional Larry Crabtree, who choreographed the piece.

 

Tickets are $10 general/$8 seniors/$3 students. All seats to Thursday’s performance are $1. For more information, call 445-4523.
