Le Moyne Celebrates Family Weekend

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Le Moyne College will celebrate Family Weekend September 24-26 with a variety of events on campus. Following are some of the highlights of the weekend.

Friday, Sept. 24

7 p.m. Night of Twain: A special event for first-year students and their parents featuring faculty and student performances from “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” (and additional works by Mark Twain) to coincide with the common reading assignment for the class of 2014.

9 p.m. The Jazzuits Concert

10 p.m. Steve Laurenti ’12 performs in the atrium of the new Le Moyne Plaza.

Saturday, Sept. 25

11 a.m. Turf Field Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Thomas J. Niland Jr. Athletic Complex

Noon – 3 p.m. Family Weekend Barbecue, Recreation Center

1 p.m. Men’s Soccer: The Dolphins take on Bentley College on the new turf field.

5 p.m. Sunset Liturgy, Panasci Family Chapel

8 p.m. Concert: Vocalists and instrumentalists, including Le Moyne’s a cappella group, Fermata Nowhere, will perform Broadway favorites and much more.

Sunday, Sept. 26

10 a.m. Liturgy, Panasci Family Chapel
