Alex is ready to take on the world.
He’s had plenty of preparation. For starters, he served as student representative to the College’s board of trustees his junior year. “It was a great experience,” he says. “How many 19- or 20-year-olds have the opportunity to sit in on a board meeting and rub shoulders with important alumni?”
Then the business major took on a high-powered summer internship with the investment management division of Bank of New York Mellon. “There’s a real depth of opportunities out here,” he says.
As he prepares for the job market, Alex is confident that his Le Moyne experience will give him the edge. “If you can’t write coherently, or carry on a solid conversa¬tion because you don’t know history, that diminishes your marketability,” notes the Philadelphia native. “Le Moyne’s strong core curriculum makes sure you can form your own opinions and speak intelligently about them.”
