Impacts of Race and Oppression: Response, Healing and Thriving for Victims

The Community Hub invites you to join us for the Social Justice in Syracuse lecture series, which features leaders from Syracuse who work to dismantle structural inequality and advance social justice in the community.

Randi Bregman and Angela Douglas, who serve as co-executive directors of Vera House, will discuss how intersectionality can be useful in terms of sexual assault and intimate partner violence issues, victimizations and responses, and shifts in practices, advocacy, and services. April is Sexual Assault Awareness month, Child Abuse Awareness Month, and later this month is National Crime Victims' Rights Week.
