    Celebrating the Life and Legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

    Le Moyne College is pleased to welcome Mario Powell, S.J., as the keynote speaker at the 2022 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation. This theme of this year’s convocation is Love for Community. A respected and accomplished educator, Father Powell is the sixth president of Brooklyn Jesuit Prep and the former director of the REACH Program at Regis High School in Manhattan. He has drawn joy and meaning from his work in both secondary and middle-school settings within the USA East Province of the Society of Jesus. Father Powell currently serves on Le Moyne’s board of trustees.
