Le Moyne College Stories

Providing students with free, fun, and creative activities is what the Le Moyne Student Programming Board (LSPB) is known for. Their activities range from spectacular shows to interactive festivals that are seen regularly on campus. The group is truly a staple of campus life that continues to curate well-attended and loved events for all ‘Phins. 

Recently, LSPB hosted hypnotist Eric Mina at Grewen Auditorium to entertain and amaze the student body. Mina is a renowned comedic hypnotist that has performed his unique acts at hundreds of venues. He specializes in crowd interaction, and turns the audience to once-in-a-lifetime show in a matter of minutes. As promised, Mina recruited audience volunteers during the event to hypnotize them in a variety of ways. Students were hypnotized to do a live talent competition, fall asleep, and even have a dance off! Student reception to this event was remarkable, with a senior attendee exclaiming, “It was crazy! he (Mina) got people who were only watching to be hypnotized and follow some of the actions”. Another attendee who was brave enough to go on stage described it by saying, “It created a memory that I’ll never forget”.
